Fiverr is one of the most famous freelance platforms, Where Thousands of Freelancers sell their services to Potential Buyers according to their requirements. Fiverr started its services in 2010 and in very few years it became one of the most used freelance platforms worldwide. Many Freelancers from different fields like Digital Marketing, Web Development, Graphic Designing, Data Entry, App Development, Blockchain, Virtual Assistants, Software Development, Photography, Video Editing, etc are offering their services to clients from all over the world. I am also working on Fiverr since 2017. So Today We will learn from my experience and I will Explain 3 Suggestions for Getting Your First Order on Fiverr.
Here are the 3 Suggestions to Get Your First Order on Fiverr:
1. Reply Fast
Always Rember one thing, Almost every client sends a message to approximately 5-6 Freelancers when he needs any service. And there are more changes to get a client when you will reply to your client’s query within 30 minutes of his message. Because If you will not reply early there is a huge chance that your client will hire someone else.
So I want to add a suggestion here to Use Fiverr Mobile App on your Smartphone, so you can get a Notification and reply to every conversation on time. And When your Conversion rate on Fiver will increase, there are more chances that your gig will rank on Top positions on Fiverr.
2. Create Similar Gigs
Many people do 2 Common Mistakes while creating Gigs. The first mistake is to create just 1 or two gigs. My recommendation is to create at least 5-7 gigs while starting on Fiverr. If you will shart with just 1-2 gigs there are very fewer chances that your gigs will be ranked on Fiverr and you will get new clients. So always start with 5-7 gigs. It will increase your chances to get your first order on Fiverr as soon as possible.
While the second common mistake is people create gigs from different fields. For example, many people create 1 gig for Graphic Designing, a second gig for Web, development, and a third gig for Data entry, etc, and so on. Through this practice, you will lose a client’s trust. Because clients will think that you are not an expert in any field that is why you are offering different services.
So Always Try to create your gigs in one particular field. For example, if you are a Graphic designer, you can create 5-6 different gigs within the same skill set, like Logo Design Gig, Poster Designing gigs, Social Media Posts designing gigs, etc. By You doing this there are more changes to get more clients.
3. Use Video Thumbnail
Fiver’s Gig Thumbnail Plays a very important role in your gig’s ranking and orders. Most people use just an Image as their thumbnail. But If you want to become a Game changer and want to attract more clients I will suggest you to use a Video Thumbnail.
Create a Video of 30 sec to 1 minute, by using your Smart Phone. And Introduce yourself, Tells about your experience, and explain about services you are going to offer in that particular gig in that video. Video will help to attract more clients because video increases the trust of most buyers. While Fiverr also supports Video Thumbnails rather than using an image.
In the end, I want to Wish you the Best of Luck to all of you. Who Wants to start their career in Freelancing.
